This is such a lovely post. We also love outdoor adventures as long as it does not rain! lol! I think Ethan will love this worksheet. Our printer is broken as well so I guess he’ll have to do it on his tablet instead. Thank you so much for linking with us. So Awesome that Dad was able to save the day! πŸ™‚ #FabFridayPost x

What a fun day. Other than the printer breaking, and hearts breaking too. UG! But you got to have 2 great days together instead of one.

Isn’t it the best when the kids start showing interest in doing things that are fun for both of you? I remember those days! LOL Now I just embarrass them.

Great ideas! I have often printed out a tick sheet so that we can the little ones can spot nature.

Thanks for linking up to #AnythingGoes

That’s such a fab idea! So simple, but so effective in getting kids excited about nature!

What a fab idea, we would love to join in as the children LOVE being outdoors. Shame about the printer, we don’t actually have a printer so whenever we want to print something we have to go to my in-laws which is annoying! #fabfridaypost

I tried to print it but my printer broke! LOL Just kidding. Awesome hunt list. My boys love getting out for hikes in the woods. No electronics. No noise. Just a family out for a walk in the woods πŸ™‚ That and they love looking for walking sticks – not the bugs, but actual sticks they can use as walking sticks.

How fun! We went on a little scavenger hunt around our woods just yesterday. Wouldn’t you know, it’s the ONE day there are NO squirrels to be found anywhere! ha ha

Nature hunts are great – we still get away with them now and mine are 10, 8 and 5! I’m hoping to go on one this weekend. Sarah #FabFridayPost

Autumn walks are the best, my oldest rarely joins me now but it’s so nice seeing my toddler take it all in. You’ve totally inspired me to go out exploring tomorrow now

What a lovely idea, I’m so glad the boys got to go on their hunt. I’ve been thinking of putting something together like this for the girls

I think going out with a plan like this and a challenge is brill for the little ones. I need to take my daughter on a hunt then she may stop moaning her legs are tired!! Thanks for sharing and love the pics xx #bestandworst x

Fantastic activity for the kids! I really like the idea of making your own nature hunt sheet. It’s a shame about the printer situation but it’s good you got to use them another time.

Oh no shame about the printer but it is amazing that Daddy saved the day. Looks like you all had a lot of fun xxx

Such an awesome idea!!! Nature hunts are one of our fav things and I love how excited kids get about being in charge of a list and finding things. Looks like the boys had fun!

Wow! Fantastic idea, I love it. My kids would love this! That’s one half-term activity sorted!

What a fun idea, and the perfect time of the year to go exploring out in nature. I haven’t been out for a walk or explore for ages x

I’ve seen the photos on your Instagram and now have a yearning to do the same! My husband has a lecture to do over the weekend so it will just be little T and I. Note to self: Print your fab sheets and do a nature hunt on Saturday πŸ™‚

This sounds like a fun idea! And autumn is the best times, with the lovely colours and great weather. I might steal this idea. Thanks for sharing with #bigpinklink

What a lovely idea Yvonne. I’m glad everything worked out n the end. I just hate it when printers break, but you made a plan and the monkeys must have had a ball.

My little ones love going out and hunting for things so this would be great fun for them.

What a fun idea! My grandkids would enjoy a nature hunt. I will have to remember this and maybe with they come back to visit we can go for one. My grandson would really love the print sheet for the nature hunt, and there is a nice park not to far from the house.

I really should get outside more with my little one. Especially with the changing seasons. I’m 14 weeks pregnant with my second so this post has definitely made me more motivated to get outdoors more with my daughter whilst its just me and her. Shes only 21 months so she probably wouldn’t be able to do this – BUT I will simple it down for her. Thanks for a good idea! The boys look like they had a ball #marvmondays

What a fabulous idea and great that you shared the printout too. My girls are too old and cool to want to go out on walks with us anymore. I kind of miss that time, when they would happily be with us and out doing stuff! Being outdoors is so brilliant for kids.
